Dear GOOD Readers -

As you have seen, some of your friends at GOOD are in Denver for the DNC (we'll be in St. Paul next week for the RNC, too). We're going to the convention, going to the protests, and going to the parties to try to bring you a sense of what this whole experience is like. We probably can't compete with CNN or Fox News for up-to-the-minute coverage and political soundbites, but hopefully we'll give you a view of what actually happens behind the scenes and alongside of the scene at these things. This is democracy in action (or at least some carefully orchestrated version of it), and we'll tell you how it works. Stay tuned.
