10 years ago: I've never heard about Peter Watkins. I'm on the sofa, watching the TV. Usually, I watch Arte (french public TV - yes I'm a freakin' french :) ) because of the quality of the documentaries this channel plays.
And what I'm watching now ?
A documentary about activism under the Nixon years... Punishment Park !
- Is it true ? It looks incredible !!! What really happened ?

Later, I discovered this was a movie, but what a great movie ! It made my head become a punching bag, made me suspicious about my TV (if this guy can do it with his small team/money, what can 'they' do ?...), at a time the wars and the reasons of the wars were 'blurred' to our vision.

Punishment Park is a bullet in your head, a Tomahawk direct to your mind. A perfect example of what tyranny can be, if we don't take care...

Thanks to the author for the article, I had re-built my list of 'important movies to watch, urgently' since !
